Stain Removal Guide
You will need:
• Henry’s Professional
Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner
• A clean white cloth, towel, or wet- vacuum
Cleaning Procedures:
- Immediately scoop up as much of the spill as you can. If it
is a solid material, try to scrape up as much as possible with a spatula
or spoon. BLOT to remove as much moisture as possible. DO NOT
RUB.
- Apply Henry’s Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner
to the stained area. Blot with the clean white cloth. Press
down firmly to make sure most of the moisture is removed. Again, DO
NOT RUB. Repeat this step until there is no evidence of the stain on the
cloth or towel
- If the stain is still on the carpet, repeat step 2.
Recommended for: Asphalt, Blood, Cough Syrup, Crayon, Feces,
Furniture Polish/Stain, Grease, Hair Oils, Lotion, Machine Oil, Makeup,
Paint (Latex), Petroleum Jelly, Rust, Shoe Polish, Soot, Tar, Toothpaste,
Urine, Varnish, White Glue
- Immediately scoop up as much of the spill as you can. If it
is a solid material, try to scrape up as much as possible with a spatula
or spoon. BLOT to remove as much moisture as possible. DO NOT
RUB.
- Apply Henry’s Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner
- Blot with the clean white cloth or paper towel. Press down firmly
to make sure most of the moisture is removed. Again, DO NOT RUB.
Repeat this step until there is no evidence of the stain on the
cloth or towel.
- After all of the moisture has been removed, vacuum or brush pile
to restore carpet texture.
Recommended for: Candle Wax, Chewing Gum, Nail Polish
- Apply Ice and remove as much of the solids as possible.
- Apply Henry’s Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner
and roll gently between fingers until solids breaks away.
- Blot with the clean white cloth or paper towel. Press down firmly
to make sure most of the moisture is removed. Again, DO NOT RUB.
Repeat this step until there is no evidence of the stain on the
cloth or towel.
- After all of the moisture has been removed, vacuum or brush pile
to restore carpet texture.
